“ If your fingerprint is still at the back of your phone, you need to work hard this year” was the first message I received from her this morning on WhatsApp.
It was a screenshot, she saved it from Facebook. I was still trying to think about what she meant by this statement when I received another one from her. “ babe, I’m tired of this phone, please buy an iPhone for me” She added.
While I was still being dumbfounded ’cause of the audacity , I swiftly replied her, “ But darling, I’ve just bought a very good android phone for you a week ago now” I said. She didn’t allow the message to land well, she replied back, “ I’m just tired of this phone. Get me an iPhone or we break up” She said, threatening me with breakup.
“ Don’t worry, dear. I’ll surprise you” I said to her. I could feel the joy from her voice. The way she was screaming and laughing on the phone. “ Yeah, I’ll surprise you” I repeated it again. She joyfully told me, “ Thanks so very much, Love”. “ oh! Love is crazy” she screamed.
Well, Love is crazy as she said. I surprised her. When it was in the night, I went to her hostel. Fortunately, she wasn’t at home and she was charging the android phone. I silently removed the charger from the phone and I stole it. What very a big surprise!.
