Do You Think Tiwa Savage Can Be As Irrelevant As D’Banj & Wande Coal After Her Mavin Exit?

Now without the influence of Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage could find it tough remaining relevant in the music industry.
She’s now in a new terrain, aiming to break into the global music space and similar to what happened to Davido in 2016 and Wizkid in 2017, Universal Music Group might want to change her sound and this could affect the visibility of her music career.
Wizkid’s Sounds From The Other Side was a flop here in Nigeria because it had a different sound direction from the normal Wizkid’s Afrobeats.
Dr sid, D Prince, Di’ja always get massive airplay for their songs anytime they release one regardless of the content Simply because if its coming from the stable of Mavin, quality is always assured.
Could Don jazzy be having the same influence on all his artistes works? If yes then why are the other artistes not having hit every now and then?
Reekado banks have not been able to feed us with the best sound as we’ve known him for since his exit from the label. I guess life as a Mavin act has always been the best compliment for their talents.

D’banj and Wande Coal have both struggled to be relevant after they left the label as well.
D’banj has struggled to be as productive as he used to be when he was with Don Jazzy. He was able to maintain his fan-base with some external things he does.
Wande Coal has hardly been able to stand fully on his feet since he left the label. He has only been able to leverage on the fact that he has so much talent. Don jazzy made us believe and see the potentials in him when he was still under him but since his exit, he has lost the whole form and attention.
Her record deal means all of her official releases worldwide has to be vetted, sanctioned, released and sold through Universal Music and as Wizkid couldn’t release and sell Nigerian Music in Nigeria due to his Sony deal and with this Tiwa Savage‘s new deal with Universal Music Group, it means they hold control over her official music releases.
Could this affect Tiwa Savage‘s career especially in Nigeria where attention span is short and artistes might need to work hard and release more materials so they can stay relevant?
