R&B superstar R. Kelly turned himself in to Chicago police on Friday, after prosecutors charged him with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sex abuse against four victims, three of them minors. The bombshell development in the Kelly saga came after a judge approved a no-bail arrest warrant for the 52-year-old, who for decades has faced accusations of child pornography, sex with minors, operating a sex cult and sexual battery. Kelly surrendered to Chicago police at approximately 8:15 p.m. (0215 GMT) and was taken into custody. He will appear in court tomorrow afternoon, a police spokesman said. Kim Foxx — the state’s attorney for Cook County, which includes Chicago — told journalists the alleged crimes occurred between 1998 and 2010. For those that have been hoping that one day another Nigerian wins a Grammy award, you can now hope no more as your hope has now manifested. Although not your regular musician or  popular personality,  Ibra Ake has won a Grammy award. The young man who won the award at the just held Grammy 2019 awards at the Staples Centre on the 10th of February, 2019 for the role he played in American rapper, Childish Gambino’s “This is America”  video tweeted via his Twitter page to share the news. Ibra Ake is a Nigerian-American creative director, visual artist and writer based in Los Angeles, California. Ibra Ake becomes the second Nigerian to win a Grammy award after Sikiru Adepoju’s contribution won him Best Contemporary World Music Album in 2009.

It seems a  Kizz Daniel  and  Johnny Drille collaboration is in the pipeline after the  “NBS” performer acknowledged Drille’s public display of affection. The Mavin alternative singer took to Twitter to publicly declare the intention of having a song with Afro-pop star Kizz Daniel; a tweet which caused a major stir as Daniel also replied saying he too would love to have a song with Drille, with Drille saying he is off to the studio to create mind-blowing music. What would the said song sound like? Would Drille take Daniel into the alternative/folk genre or would Kizz make Johnny jump on a lush pop banger? We await! The feud between Offset and Chris Brown reached new heights when Breezy unveiled his house address on Instagram and asked the Migos star to pull up so they could iron it out the way ‘real men’ do. It was a shocking move given the singer’s celebrity status, as many probably wroted down his address so they could start to stalk the singer. While there haven’t been any reported break-ins at Chris’ place, we assume he has an extravagant and powerful security system. One concerned fan of the superstar singer was so worried about the star’s well-being that he had to call the police and asked them to perform a welfare check on Chris. According to TMZ, Chris was visited by police after somebody called to say that they were worried about his welfare. Shortly after the singer posted his address online, police showed up and spoke to his security team. They notified the cops that Chris is “fine” and that nothing had occurred since the last online interaction with Offset. Bre...

Davido  has been announced to take part as a panelist on popular comedy show; Comedy Central Roast AKA, a show that that looks to shade South African rapper, AKA, in good will. Davido who will be the first ever Nigerian to appear as a panelist on the show shares his excitement about it. “ I’m such a big fan of Comedy Central, this is going to be a hilarious night.
